The Rill concept

The idea for the Rill lamp did not arise overnight. It is a concept I have carried with me for many years; a vision to materialize the perfect light source. I wanted to create an object where the boundary between functional lighting and brutalist sculpture is blurred.

Only now, through the intersection of modern digital craft and sustainable innovation, has the idea been able to become reality. By 3D-printing in biodynamic oak, I have been able to give form to the exact lines, shadowplay, and weight that I have carried in my mind for so long.
